I added a little Jules flour because we all like a cake like cookie. It turned out great. The only problem I had was the directions are in kind of small print for me. Among the various "good stuff" my wife picked up was a bag of Jules' Cookie Mix. A couple of days ago, she made it up and I baked a dozen chocolate chip cookies. Holey-Moley they were to die for! One "problem" is that since my two boys have Celiac Disease, but I don't, she said I'm not allowed to eat any because they are "special" and only for the kids - not fair! ;-)
We put the leftover cookie dough back in the fridge and the kids' first request yesterday afternoon when they got home from school was "when can we make cookies?" It works great just keeping the dough in the fridge, plopping a dozen on a cookie sheet, and shortly thereafter, having freshly made nice-n-warm chocolate chip cookies - YUMMMM!!!!
As a non-Celiac, I'll often say "that was pretty good ... for gluten-free" But these chocolate chip cookies are as good as any "regular" ones ... as I can attest when I sneak one when my wife isn't looking! ;-)
